Regional Councilor Angelo Dago announced that 3.5 million euros are coming from the Region for the ski slopes of Valsesia thanks to the revision of the Program Agreement for the ski area on the Piedmont side of Monte Rosa

The Cimalegna slope in Alagna will be equipped with a snow-making system financed with one million euros, while a second snow-making system will be built on the Scopello-Mera and Pianaccia slopes with 2.5 million euros.
In "La Stampa" we read the comment of the Councilor Angelo Dago: "The resolution approved thanks to the work of our councilors for sport and the mountains and our governor Cirio to whom I thank for their constant commitment and attention to our territory, it allows to add another fundamental element for the completion of the Valsesia ski complex. From 2009 to today, the Region has allocated a total of 19 million euros which, among other things, have financed the maintenance of the Mullero and Mullero 2 slopes in Alagna, the adaptation and strengthening of the cableway system between Cimalegna and Passo dei Salati and the water basin for the snow-making system in the locality of Mullero. The Monte Rosa area, due to its natural and scenic beauty and the level of its ski facilities, is a popular destination far beyond the national borders with constantly growing presences and visitors also from outside Europe. Added to this are the attractions recently financed by the Region, also in the minor valleys and lateral to the main axis of the Sesia such as the one in the Alpe Campo area with the planned construction of a zip line, by the Municipality of Alto Sermenza but always with the support and supervision of the Monterosa 2000 company ”.
