For the winter season 2019/2020 Bardonecchia will present as a novelty the four-seat chairlift with automatic grip “Sellette†which will replace the old two-seater chairlift and the ski lift in the Melezet area.

The new plant will depart from Chesal at an altitude of 1783 meters and will reach an altitude of 2200 meters for a journey time of five minutes. The chairlift, with its domes, can carry 2400 people per hour.
Among the novelties there is also the Alpine Coaster, a two-seater sled for an exciting descent into the woods of Campo Smith, with parabolic curves, bumps and slope changes for more than 1000 meters in length; suitable for children and families.
A promotion for the purchase of the seasonal ski pass is available until November 10 at a price of 600 euros instead of 810 euros. In addition, seasonal ski pass packages are offered for families of 3 or 4 people and offers for under 16s, under 10s, over 60s and over 75s. Children under 7 have the right to a free seasonal ski pass as long as a parent purchases a seasonal "whole" or "family".

Mottarone
Il Mottarone, alto 1.492 metri, sorge in una posizione privilegiata tra il Lago Maggiore e il Lago d’Orta. La sua vetta arrotondata è uno dei balconi panoramici più spettacolari del Piemonte: nelle giornate limpide lo sguardo abbraccia sette laghi, la Pianura Padana e gran parte dell’arco alpino, dal Monviso al Monte Rosa fino alle montagne svizzere. Questa cornice, più che le dimensioni del comprensorio, rappresenta il vero elemento distintivo della località.
