There is the green light for the construction of the 7bis slope in Cervinia which will be of significant importance in the future also for the Alpine Ski World Cup.

The government's go-ahead has arrived for the construction, by the company Cervino spa, of the new 7bis ski slope which will also be functional in the future for the organization of the Alpine Ski World Cup. Cervinia and Zermatt have in fact requested the FIS to host the opening of the fast disciplines of the 2023/2024 Alpine Ski World Cup for both men and women.
In fact, a note reads: "The construction of the new 7bis slope constitutes a significant development element from an economic and social point of view, as by expanding the skiable surface it improves the tourist flow, also facilitating the organization of Alpine Ski World Cup ”.
The descent route will start from Switzerland and Italy at the level of Laghi Cime Bianche.
Ansa reports that "the measure was adopted" in consideration of the declarations of the Municipality of Valtournenche and on the basis of the specific study on the compatibility of the intervention with the existing state of instability and on the verification of the adequacy of the safety conditions in act, compatibly and without prejudice to compliance with the remaining national and regional legislation on environmental and territorial protection ".

Argentera
Argentera si trova nell’alta Valle Stura, a pochi chilometri dal Colle della Maddalena e dal confine francese, in uno degli ambienti più appartati e selvaggi delle Alpi Marittime. Il comprensorio si sviluppa sopra la frazione di Bersezio, tra circa 1.630 e 2.500 metri di quota, in un paesaggio di lariceti e pendii d’alta montagna dominato dall’Oserot e dalla Rocca dei Tre Vescovi.
