The Faloria cable car will not reopen for the whole summer period, as the plant managers communicated and, according to what was learned from the colleagues of the "Corriere del Veneto", the case is linked to the revision terms coinciding with the very delicate period linked to Covid -19 and, therefore, to the problems of the workers who would have had to work on the various components of the cable car, disassembled and sent to the parent company for the necessary checks, whose times were stretched out of all proportion due to the pandemic emergency.
And also the Col Druscié-Ra Valles and Ra Valles-Cima Tofana sections will not open for modernization works, with the closure of the Faloria which allows tourists to climb the mountain only on foot or aboard one of the jeeps provided as a replacement service. "We are sorry to communicate - Faloria SpA said in a note - that the Faloria cable car will not be able to resume service during the current summer due to lack of supplies of some components (due to the known coronavirus emergency) in relation to the works of technical modernization. We apologize for the inconvenience".
