The Valley of San Giovanni is one of the great classics of off-piste skiing in Limone Piemonte; technically very complex and easily accessible from plants with a short climb with skins or walk.

Access: Take the chairlift Leone Pancani Pian (T2 on the ski map of the Riserva Bianca) and once you reach the top, go with sealskins or on foot to collar Campanin (2142m). The collar is very clear and the route is marked on the cards by a dirt road. 10/15 min with skins. Descent: After reaching the collar, you can enjoy one of the longest descents in the area. Maire arrived at Valletta (1529 m) to identify and follow the road by gravity back to the start of Severino Bottero (S2 gondola on the ski map of the Riserva Bianca) Remarks: The valley is very wide and slopes also important: the terrain is characterized by a soil mostly grassy, ​​and then that can be a slip plane for avalanches. Carefully assess wind conditions / temperature / snowpack.

La Valmalenco offre uno dei comprensori sciistici più panoramici della Valtellina, sviluppato principalmente nella conca dell’Alpe Palù e circondato dalle grandi montagne del gruppo del Bernina.
