A season to forget that of last winter for Limone Piemonte. A season in which everything was closed due to the pandemic, but above all a season that saw a lot of damage to slopes and lifts due to the flood of 2 October 2020.

In recent months, Limone Piemonte has worked hard to be able to restart and reopen this winter: the damaged slopes and lifts have been restored and made safe throughout the Riserva Bianca area, with the sole exception of the Pernante chairlift in Limonetto.
Antonella Zanotti, CEO of Lift Spa (Company that manages the ski lifts in Limone) explained to us: "The Pernante chairlift has not yet been possible to restore it because it is a huge, long and expensive job. We are waiting to be able to restart in the spring. with this area. The skiable area will be closed and delimited, but the area will still be open for multiple activities: snowshoeing, horse riding, snowmobiling. Even families can spend beautiful days in the snow. Although the Pernante chairlift does not it has still been restored, the Morel chairlift will remain active, allowing skiers coming from Limonetto to arrive ".
"The Pernante chairlift is owned by the municipality - continues Antonella Zanotti - So we will work together with the Municipality to be able to restore the system and possibly improve it, perhaps with a longer route. We will certainly not let it die. The times were too short to fix it. 'year, we had to work a lot to be able to restore 70 chasms. It was very hard, but we did it. We will be able to open all the other tracks. It was an economically unsustainable job at a time like this. "
Limone Piemonte will also present new proposals for the 2021/2022 winter season. Antonella Zanotti: "There will be two new features. The first is the snow park located in the area of the Sun, therefore on the side of the Bottero gondola. It consists of three slopes: one for the little ones, one for intermediates and one for the evolution of those who are passionate about jumps. It is a commitment that we had also made to give a younger image of the station. The second novelty concerns the 'snow trains' that connect Tenda with Limone. Thanks to funding from the Piedmont Region, users will be able to take advantage of the service free of charge. There will be 12 trips a day. This is a discount for those coming from Liguria, mainly from the Imperia area. Once at the Limone Piemonte station, there will be free shuttles that will take you to the ski slopes ".
In addition to the aforementioned innovations, the Piedmontese ski resort is also thinking about new projects for the future: "We are about to build a new hut with a large terrace, it will be positioned at the arrival of the Bottero gondola. Other chalets and a more We would also like to renovate the Tres Amis hotel which is located directly on the slopes at an altitude of 1400 meters. Limone Piemonte is a resort that we want to develop and make it more and more beautiful to attract more tourists ", concludes Antonella Zanotti, CEO of Lift Spa .
Also this winter the Riserva Bianca area will be accessible to skiers with disabilities. In Limone 1400, for many years now, SportABILI Alba Onlus has been organizing ski activities for people with disabilities. The association is equipped with all the equipment for all types of disabilities: monoski, bisci, dualski, stabilizers for descents.
Snow conditions permitting, the winter season could begin on December 4th, although it was initially decided on December 8th. It is advisable to buy the ski pass and season tickets online to avoid crowds at the ticket offices.
In Limone Piemonte there is also Bottero Ski, the reference point for fashion and winter sports. In Limone 1400, near the plants, there is the point dedicated to rental and tests with all the latest news from the most prestigious brands.
