From today, in Livigno you can put your skis back on your feet.
The opening of the cross-country ring is official, which for many years has been the cornerstone of the start of the winter season in the Valtellina area. A first ring prepared ad hoc by the experts, thanks to the now tested snowfarming technique supported by the recent snowfalls that have affected the entire Alpine arc in recent days.
The track will be open every day and access will be available from 6.30 am until 7.00 pm, upon payment of the appropriate ticket. Amateurs and residents can take advantage of the ring from 12.00 to 19.00, by purchasing the ticket through the My Livigno app at a cost of 5 euros. The teams, on the other hand, will have a free track from 6.30 to 12.00 and will have to purchase the tickets directly at the Aquagranda facility, upon written reservation via email to info@aquagrandalivigno.com.
Residents of Livigno and the province of Sondrio will also be able to purchase the season ticket directly on the My Livigno app, or, again starting from 30 October, at the Aquagranda reception in Via Rasia 999. The occasion is tempting. also for biathletes, who will be able to train on the cross-country ring and then shoot at the shooting range of the biathlon arena, located in Campaciol and available every day from 8.30 to 18.00 subject to authorization granted by the management of APT Livigno. For the exercise of the activities at the shooting range, the national safety regulations and those of the IBU apply. The rates are 8 euros for the full day ticket and 5 euros for the reduced / resident day ticket.
The use of the shooting range is only allowed upon reservation to be made at Aquagranda (tel. 0342 970277 - info@aquagrandalivigno.com). For the sporting use of the track and the polygon, the anti Covid regulations in force must be respected; during the activity it will not be mandatory to wear a mask, but cross-country skiers and biathletes must have it with them and wear it during the breaks, before accessing the track and just after the activity. On the track, however, all the rules related to social distancing remain valid, even if the use of the track for time slots, differentiated for professional teams and amateurs, will avoid any crowding of athletes.
