It is called Aristogatto and will be inaugurated on Sunday March 11th in the valleys of Cuneese, in Lurisia, on top of Monte Pigna. It 'a snowmobile but its primary purpose is not to beat the slopes but to satisfy the most demanding palates.

The idea is by Alessio Franco and Domenico Defilippi, two young Piedmontese entrepreneurs who have combined their great passions, cuisine and mountains, and after careful planning, have given life to an old snow cat making it a point of mobile refreshment. "The goal - explained Alessio Franco - was to bring a restaurant on the slopes different from the traditional one that is offered in the huts. We like to call it a Gourmet Cat, which will enhance the typical cuisine of Piedmont with a touch of inventiveness. "The Aristogatto offers numerous wine labels and on request will prepare tastings with a selection of the best local products. "We have given new life to an old cat beat Leitner 380T track held for over twenty years - explained Domenico Defilippi - touring the ski resorts of half of Europe to find all the necessary spare parts to put it back on track. It is a project that has taken away a lot of time, but the satisfaction of seeing it again on the track will repay us the many sacrifices made. "The Gourmet Cat will stay on the slopes of Lurisia until the end of the season and then move to some other location. It is not necessary to book, all you need to do is go to Monte Pigna.
