The Region has allocated 7.5 million euros to Macugnaga to renovate the ski resort with interventions on the plants now dated as the two chairlifts Pecetto - Alpe Burky - Belvedere.

The Board of Directors of the Monterosa 2000 Spa company accepted the Region's proposal to take care of the other plants in Macugnaga, such as the ski lift and the adaptation of the Staffa - Bill cableway.
The Mts-Macugnaga Transport Services cooperative will thus become part of the company Monterosa 2000 spa, owner of the management of the Alagna plants.
The attempt is to revive tourism in Macugnaga where in summer there are more presences than in winter.

Argentera
Argentera si trova nell’alta Valle Stura, a pochi chilometri dal Colle della Maddalena e dal confine francese, in uno degli ambienti più appartati e selvaggi delle Alpi Marittime. Il comprensorio si sviluppa sopra la frazione di Bersezio, tra circa 1.630 e 2.500 metri di quota, in un paesaggio di lariceti e pendii d’alta montagna dominato dall’Oserot e dalla Rocca dei Tre Vescovi.
