In Macugnaga there is discussion for the relaunch of the ski lifts of the ski resort.

A meeting was held in the Kongresshaus hall which saw the majority advise and the minority meet on the issue of relaunching the lifts in Macuggnaga, in particular on the construction of the new Belvedere chair lift.
A program agreement has been established according to which the contribution of 7.5 million euros, which the Region had initially allocated to the company Monte Rosa 2000 di Alagna (owner of the chairlift), is credited to the Municipality of Macugnaga. Furthermore, a consortium of Ossola entrepreneurs - Locatelli, Bonacci and Huber - will also support the relaunch of the ski lifts.
The design of the new Belvedere chair lift involves the construction of a modern, four-seater, dome-shaped and faster system.
The final project will be presented by the end of the year.

Argentera si trova nell’alta Valle Stura, a pochi chilometri dal Colle della Maddalena e dal confine francese, in uno degli ambienti più appartati e selvaggi delle Alpi Marittime.
