Tragedy this afternoon at Monte Rosa. In the early afternoon a young cross country skiing & egrave; It crashed into a crevasse in the Gully Marinelli while a hiking companion was skiing down from Dufour Peak (4634 meters).

The scene & egrave; He was seen with binoculars from a few people who were at the Monte Moro, Macugnaga above: they were following the descent of the two when, suddenly, one & egrave; It crashed into a crevasse. Argentera si trova nell’alta Valle Stura, a pochi chilometri dal Colle della Maddalena e dal confine francese, in uno degli ambienti più appartati e selvaggi delle Alpi Marittime. Il comprensorio si sviluppa sopra la frazione di Bersezio, tra circa 1.630 e 2.500 metri di quota, in un paesaggio di lariceti e pendii d’alta montagna dominato dall’Oserot e dalla Rocca dei Tre Vescovi.
