La Prato Nevoso Spa, to name one, has decided to renounce public money to implement, as a plan presented to the Piedmont Region, a latest generation six-seater chairlift and a futuristic 10-seater gondola lift that will replace the historic Blu and Rosso della Conca. The € 3 million and € 250 thousand allocated by Piedmont will be diverted to artificial snow, which has always been the strong point of the Cuneo area and which will now be even stronger in view of snowless days that are often very frequent in recent years. This private loan drops from 29 to almost 15 million in the budget of the Municipality of Frabosa Sottana.
In the package that makes up the budget change approved by the City Council are included work to renovate the plants of Artesina, also Frabosa Sottana fraction as Prato Nevoso, with money from the Region. The interventions have already begun on the new two-seater chairlift of Rocche Giardina, which will replace the old ski-lift started to dismantle in the spring and that the South Tyrolean company Leitner would like for its historical archive as a mussel finding, since it was the first plant which sold in Piedmont in the 70s. The cost of the operation is 3,800,000 euros, 7,686,000 have been budgeted for the construction of the new two-seater Terra-Cima Durand chairlift.
