A week of intensive training in Alagna to change your skiing attitude

Programme
It includes a one-week stay from Saturday to Saturday at affiliated accommodation, five days of intensive training and a free day in which to make up for any time lost due to adverse weather conditions or try other experiences.
Morning: from 09:00 to 13:00 – ski training in the field
Afternoon: from 17:00 to 18:30 – revision and video analysis + post-ski workout

Video analisys in focus
Each day of skiing will be filmed to be analysed in detail and to give you specific feedback on what to work on the
next day; video analysis offers enormous potential for the improvement and consolidation of technique (it is not
provided for the first two levels of ability).

Post ski Work Out in Focus
We have chosen Odaka yoga with Alpine Yoga Monterosa, in combination with our intensive training programme, because it is a practice suited to anyone who wants relief from physical and mental tension, increase their flexibility, improve muscle tone and prevent possible injuries due to muscle contraction and stiff joints; it goes perfectly with skiing and mountain activities that place significant stress on the lower limbs and spinal column.

Focus Day off
If it is not used to make up for lost time, the day off will allow you to try the other experiences we have to offer, including a day dedicated to the Monterosa Ski Safari, freeriding, ski touring, heli-skiing, mountain safety, paragliding.

Ski Academy Director - Stefano Casalino
Ski instructor and federal, he had many international experiences as an instructor and coach in Italy, Switzerland, Spain, the United States and New Zealand, right through to achieving the goal of being a coach at the World Cup (Max Blardone World Cup Team 2016).
He's currently training the women's team at Alpine Canada Alpin (@alpinecanada).
In 2014, he opened the Alagna Monterosa Ski Academy where he's the director. At the Ski Academy, he takes care of all the technical aspects of teaching skiing and snowboarding, as well as special projects at DiscoveryAlps Holiday.

The resort

The Monterosa Ski resort, with its 180 km of pistes at the convergence of three adjacent valleys (Valsesia, Val d’Ayas, Valle

Accomodation
Alagna 2000
Charming apartments in the centre of Alagna, close to the ski lifts The chalets of Alagna 2000, situated in the centre of the village, have been designed according to the distinctive characteristics of the old Walser huts, but are enhanced by state-of-the-art equipment and attention to detail with the use of quality materials.
The charming apartments offer accomodation of the higest quality and are equipped with the latest technologies.

Indren Hus Residence
The historic residence of the pioneers of the conquest of Monte Rosa. On the main street of Alagna, just a few steps from the ski lifts of the Monterosa Ski resort, the Indren Hus is the historic residence of the oldest Walser family in Alagna, the Grobers, pioneers of the conquest of Monte Rosa.
The complex, completely restructured and refurbished, offers you the choice of half board, B&B or apartment accommodation.

Hotel Cristallo***
Charme & relax in the centre of Alagna - Builted in 1932 in front of the Church of San Giovanni Battista (XVI century), the Hotel Cristallo is an elegant and comfortable hotel, just a few minutes walk from the lifts.
The Hotel has an excellent italian restaurant and at guest disposal there are a small relax area with heated pool and sauna.
The Hotel offers B&B accommodation and a restaurant with à la carte menu.

Costs e Conditions of Partecipation
The training groups are formed from a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 6 participants.
Stay in apartment complex/residence: the price is based on the apartments being fully occupied. In the case of
reduced occupancy, the cost will be updated.
Stay in B&B complex: the price is based on two people staying in a double room. In the case of reduced
occupancy, the cost will be updated.
If the customer so wishes, there is the possibility of staying in a shared room/apartment.
