After the storm of bad weather in Northern Italy on 29 October, in the Dolomites they are already working 100% to restore the slopes and the plants. The ski resorts of the Dolomiti Superski fortunately suffered minor damage, which have already been partially restored or will be within a few days. The most important work is the removal of trees along the lines. At the same time, stability and efficiency checks are being carried out on the plants involved, which at the moment confirm the modest importance of the damage and the possibility of prompt return to service.

The areas most affected by atmospheric events, especially the strong wind, are those of the southern Dolomites, where they have suffered particularly from the woods. The main problems are related to the fall of trees, which primarily concern the connections to electricity and, secondly, some few lifts. For the latter, the full set-up is expected within a short time and in any case in time to promptly open the winter season 2018-19 scheduled for 30/11 and 06/12 in two waves, as planned.
The Civetta Skiarea in the Belluno area in particular informs you not to foresee any delay in the opening and that the lifts and the slopes will soon be in a position to open the season, as well as for the skiing area of ​​Falcade / Passo San Pellegrino.
The area of ​​Arabba has suffered some damage from landslides and erosion that have affected some tracks, but that are already being restored, so the connections of Arabba, both with Val Badia and Val di Fassa are already insured.
In Marmolada and in the Padon area the damages caused by erosion and flooding caused by the overflowing torrent are still being ascertained, trusting to be able to put everything back on track in a short time.
The Carezza area has meanwhile solved most of the problems and will also be ready shortly
In several areas, some electricity lines are still interrupted and provision is made provisionally by connecting neighboring valleys to networks. The results of the restoration work are expected from Terna and ENEL Distribuzione.
The other Dolomiti Superski ski areas did not suffer major damage.
There are still some limitations on road traffic, especially in the Agordino Bellunese, where there are limitations of road traffic for heavy vehicles in the areas of Agordo and Cencenighe Agordino, with unique alternating manners. Circulation is therefore guaranteed, albeit with limitations. Some sections of road remain closed near Misurina, Val Fiorentina, Passo Lavazé and Passo Fedaia. Even in these cases work is proceeding to return to normal as soon as possible.
The ski operators therefore confirm the opening of the season in the times already communicated and are now waiting for the lowering of temperatures to start with the basic snow cover of the slopes and obviously some snowfall as a prelude to the winter by now.
