An intense week of competitions for the Paganella Skiarea that will host, in addition to the two female giant slalom races scheduled for Thursday 13 and Friday, December 14, also two men's giant slalom races on Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 December. Women's European Cup 13 and 14 December 2018
For the sixth consecutive year, the women's European Cup will return to Andalo, which will propose the spectacular slope of the Olympic track 2 as the two-door stage. The Andalo will be the fourth stage of the 2018/2019 European Cup, the second of slalom giant after the Swedish Funesdalen, and will see many young people at the start in the launch pad. The ranking of specialties - as well as the general one - is currently led by the twenty year old Austrian Julia Scheib, who won the second giant played in Funesdalen, while the first was dominated by Norway, with Kristine Gjelsten Haugen before in front of teammate Thea Louise Stjernesund. Andalo and the Paganella were also chosen as locations for the recovery of the men's double European Cup giant initially scheduled on the same dates on the Aloch track in Pozza di Fassa. So Fis decided to rely on the technical and quality guarantees guaranteed by the slope of the Andalo 2 Olympic Track and by the staff of the Paganella Ski Team and the Paganella Ski Consortium, the two companies involved in organizing the important international event. The Olimpionica 2, on the other hand, presents itself as an ideal terrain for both women's and men's competitions, being one of the most technical and challenging tracks of the Circo Bianco, not coincidentally chosen as a training center first by the Us Ski Team at the time of Bode Miller and, for some seasons now, from the Norway Ski Team of champions Kristoffersen, Svindal and Jansrud.

The Paganella Skiarea is, for some years now, the national training base led by the established champions Kristoffersen, Svindal and Jansrud, who have found in the Trentino locality the ideal "gym" for their training. The novegese team will train again in Paganella in the 2018/2019 season and some athletes will also be at the start of the races on December 13th and 14th as a trailblazer, taking advantage of the opportunity for a probing test on one of Circus's most demanding and technical tracks. From December 13th to 16th the Paganella Skiarea will be covered in chocolate thanks to Eurochocolate Christmas, the special edition of the famous chocolate event. Numerous initiatives throughout the Paganella plateau will involve skiers and not in the world of sweetness.
