Saturday, February 2, a day of solidarity on the snows of the Aosta Valley with the seventh consecutive edition of "I Light Pila", the candlelight in charity rose in favor of the association Susan G. Komen Italy, engaged in the fight against breast cancer throughout the National territory.

The objective of this year is to exceed the total amount of donations (calculated from the first event, in 2013), together with the participation of as many supporters as possible; in fact, over the past six years, over 86,000 euros have already been collected to fight breast cancer and almost 7,000 people took part in the event.
In the torchlight procession everyone can participate: adults, children, skiers and snowboarders more or less experienced, go down on snowshoes or on foot. The party will continue in the evening in the huts and in the rooms all themed decorated with special menus, music and shows.
It will start from the ski village of Gorraz, center of the Pila district. The coordination of the torchlight process is entrusted to 200 ski instructors and to volunteers.
The event "I Light Pila" was organized by the Tourist Consortium Espace de Pila and Pila s.p.a. To register, consult the Pila or Komen Italia website. It is also possible to donate those who can not or do not want to ski, but want to participate with their own contribution.

Argentera
Argentera si trova nell’alta Valle Stura, a pochi chilometri dal Colle della Maddalena e dal confine francese, in uno degli ambienti più appartati e selvaggi delle Alpi Marittime. Il comprensorio si sviluppa sopra la frazione di Bersezio, tra circa 1.630 e 2.500 metri di quota, in un paesaggio di lariceti e pendii d’alta montagna dominato dall’Oserot e dalla Rocca dei Tre Vescovi.
