The Pila, known in particular for its groomed trails prepared accurately and impeccable, pu & ograve; offer some possibilities & agrave; to alienate himself from the crowd of skiers and to admire a unique panorama of the major peaks that dominate the Alps and the Valle d & rsquo; Aosta.

Coming out of & rsquo; Motorway A5 Aosta East or along the National Road n. 26 can be gi & agrave; distinguish the signs to Pila that lead us safely to Aosta CITY (South Zone) where the ticket office and the cable car: view the rapidity & agrave; the new plant, you can & ograve; struggle in being able to fully prepare for our tour & ldquo; fuorispista & rdquo; .The start of our journey lies all & rsquo; arrival of the chairlift Grimondet on the right of the beautiful valley that appears to us when we come to Pila 1,800 meters.
It & rsquo; a chairlift little frequented because of its location a bit & rsquo; & Ldquo; aloof & rdquo; but from which we can bring in a short time, towards the top of the ski area with ski mountaineering or splitboard, always carefully assessing the present conditions and bulletins nivometereologici, avalanches (www.regione.vda.it), with respect to safety!
The climb takes place primarily along an isolated valley that is not seen from the central part of Pila and ending with a top easily distinguishable from & ldquo; & rdquo repeaters; placed at its finest.
Here the view & egrave; incredible because & eacute; ranges on all major 4000 of the Alps from Monte Rosa massif to the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc Gran Paradiso overlooking the valley of Cogne perfectly visible throughout its development.
Our descent pu & ograve; quietly follow the valley edge us back towards the chair where you can Grimondet & ograve; continue on the track or even off-piste on the left in a forest with interesting variations. Another variant can & ograve; be, to 3/4 of the descent, the line along the crest and then turn right and reaching the track between Grimondet and Couis 2, leaving few traces visible from & rsquo; whole district: here & ograve; you must be very careful and cautious on snow conditions, sometimes affected by wind accumulations!

Mottarone
Il Mottarone, alto 1.492 metri, sorge in una posizione privilegiata tra il Lago Maggiore e il Lago d’Orta. La sua vetta arrotondata è uno dei balconi panoramici più spettacolari del Piemonte: nelle giornate limpide lo sguardo abbraccia sette laghi, la Pianura Padana e gran parte dell’arco alpino, dal Monviso al Monte Rosa fino alle montagne svizzere. Questa cornice, più che le dimensioni del comprensorio, rappresenta il vero elemento distintivo della località.
