Pila ski area in the center of the Aosta Valley, is the perfect destination for those who always dreamed of skiing emotions, but never tried: Pila there is no excuse for not learning! This year the town concretely supports beginners by offering special packages that combine equipment hire to ski lessons.

Every Monday from 11.00 to 13.00 the ski instructors of the station will offer a free lesson for beginners and completely free is also the use of the treadmill of the Baby Pila, dedicated to the first steps on skis. The district is famous for its natural scenic location with views of the Region 4000, from Mount Blanc to the Matterhorn, for easy accessibility from Aosta center, 18-minute gondola, for the 'exposure sheltered from bad weather conditions that guarantees to ski all year over 1800m, for the quality of the estate of its slopes.
For five years is also known for organizing the Light Pila, the torch walks open to all, more participatory in the Aosta Valley: with skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and even on foot, adults and children with a pink LED flashlight, together to have fun and do good. Registration for the candlelight vigil are in fact devoted to the non-profit Susan G. Komen Italy, engaged in the fight against breast cancer. Argentera
Argentera si trova nell’alta Valle Stura, a pochi chilometri dal Colle della Maddalena e dal confine francese, in uno degli ambienti più appartati e selvaggi delle Alpi Marittime. Il comprensorio si sviluppa sopra la frazione di Bersezio, tra circa 1.630 e 2.500 metri di quota, in un paesaggio di lariceti e pendii d’alta montagna dominato dall’Oserot e dalla Rocca dei Tre Vescovi.
