Bressanone - Plose, you come back to discuss the city-tuna connection

On Thursday, 27 April, a meeting was held where the City Council unanimously approved the organization of a new decision-making process regarding the connection between Brixen and Plose. Already in 2014 a referendum was held on the construction of a 3S cable car from the Bressanone train station and arrived at the Plose cable car station, but the project was rejected as a bus upgrade was preferred.

The goal now is to find a shared solution to connect the city directly to the mountain by shutting down the cableway hypothesis and evaluating other alternatives. The decision-making process approved last week is divided into three phases: STEP 1: Preparation of the decision base - Definition of objectives and criteria • Approval of the procedure by the City Council; • Coordinating the process by the group leaders together with the Mobility Working Group; • Establishment of a working group on the proposal of the board of directors composed of representatives of various fields of interest As well as citizens; • Appointment to the aforesaid working group to elaborate, with professional accompaniment, the criteria and variables for a link between the city and the mountain; • Broad debate of criteria and variables elaborated together with citizenship in a dialogue with citizens for the purpose of submitting a proposal to the City Council; • Preparation of an evaluation model by the above working group as a proposal for the City Council and approval by the City Council; STEP 2: Collection and Evaluation of Projects • Collection of projects, possibly also in the form of assignment to a designer or a contest of ideas to be established during Phase 1 by the conference of the group leaders or the City Council; • Preliminary testing of project variants by a group of experts, especially as far as their feasibility is concerned; • Qualitative and comparative assessment of the project variants by the working group - possibly supplemented by experts - based on the assessment model approved by the City Council; STEP 3: Presentation and Approval • Presentation of the project / projects to be carried out (i); • Deliberation and approval by the City Council;

Argentera

Argentera
