Thanks to the very favorable altitude of the ski area, ranging from 1900 to 3250 meters, Solda anticipates the opening of the winter season for almost two months compared to the other four Val Venosta ski resorts.

In the Ortles-Cevedale peninsula, enthusiasts can ski on Saturday, October 21 on over 40 km of snow-covered slopes, ideal for freeriders and for those who prefer telemark and extreme skiing. In December, other areas will be opened: Belpiano and Valentine's Day on the 15th, Watles on the 21st and Trafoi on the 23rd.
From Christmas onwards there will be a chance to ski with one ski pass in the Skiarena two countries, which includes the five venues of the Val Venosta and the Nauders ski resort, located in the Austrian Tyrol, only 5 km from the Resza Pass and from border with Italy.
In short, skiers, snowboarders and toboggan lovers will have 211 km of slopes distributed over six ski areas. Tickets, with different formulas, from multi-day to seasonal to family, are available in both the Venetian and Austrian regions.

Argentera
Argentera si trova nell’alta Valle Stura, a pochi chilometri dal Colle della Maddalena e dal confine francese, in uno degli ambienti più appartati e selvaggi delle Alpi Marittime. Il comprensorio si sviluppa sopra la frazione di Bersezio, tra circa 1.630 e 2.500 metri di quota, in un paesaggio di lariceti e pendii d’alta montagna dominato dall’Oserot e dalla Rocca dei Tre Vescovi.
