On February 29, Snow Leopard Day returns to Spiazzi di Gromo

An event dedicated to lovers of ski mountaineering which will take place in 12 different countries.

Saturday 29 February will be a day dedicated to the protection of the snow leopard. In fact, the Snow Leopard Day will be held with which Dynafit brings together ski mountaineering enthusiasts from 12 different countries, no matter if professionals or beginners, to help defend the snow leopard, animal symbol of its brand. For every meter traveled, Dynafit will donate one cent to the Snow Leopard Trust, a non-profit organization that has been committed to protecting snow leopards, at risk of extinction, for almost 40 years. The Italian location of the event, now in its eleventh edition, will be Spiazzi di Gromo in the upper Val Seriana, in the province of Bergamo. The countries involved in the initiative are Germany, Austria, Italy, USA, Poland, Bulgaria, Norway, Slovenia, Slovakia, Switzerland, France and Greece. New this year is the special Dynafit prize up for grabs for those who will travel the most altitude differences. Even those who do not have the ski mountaineering equipment will be able to make their contribution and help the snow leopard: during the event it will be possible to use the Dynafit equipment on trial for free. Snow Leopard Day will also be a unique opportunity to test skis and boots and try out some 2020/21 news for the first time, directly on the snow. Each location will then have a dedicated entertainment program to enrich the day with motivation and fun. In Spiazzi di Gromo the event will be held from 9 to 15. An area full of routes for all difficulties where both beginners and more experienced ski mountaineers will find the most suitable terrain for "grinding meters" and having fun in company. Lunch is available for participants at the Vodala Refuge at a discounted price and, if desired, they can take advantage of the ski lift at the discounted price of 5.00 Euros (round trip) or 4.00 Euros if one way.
