Coronavirus, Val Senales ski lifts close

Due to the health emergency, Val Senales has decided to close the lifts and the slopes also for the training of athletes.

From tomorrow, Saturday 14 November, the lifts and slopes of Val Senales will close. The communication arrived today via the official facebook page Schnalstaler Gletscherbahnen - Funivie Glacier Val Senales: “Attention! Unfortunately, we must inform you that, due to the current conditions regarding Covid-19, the ski area will be closed from Saturday 14 November. See you soon!" Up to now the blue giant players and the blue slalom team for men and women had trained on the glacier. In fact, according to the latest ordinance of the President of the Province of Bolzano, Arno Kompatscher, the tracks could remain open only for the training of athletes who participate in international or national championships and / or competitions in the current year.
