What a departure for the blue tables: double podium in Bannoye with March and Bormolini, folded only by Prommegger

The Austrian wins the first parallel slalom of the World Cup season: on Russian snows, he is super Italy with five men among the top 10.

A departure literally with the turbo, for the blue boards that give the Italy of snowboarding a double podium to open the 2019/2020 World Cup. Bannoye's Russian snows hosted the first parallel slalom of the season, with coach Cesare Pisoni's boys taking home a double podium with Aaron March and Maurizio Bormolini, second and third respectively in the men's race won by the eternal Andreas Prommegger. The 39-year-old Austrian stops the Azzurri race, first eliminating Roland Fischnaller in the quarter-final, then Bormolini in the semi-finals (with the 25-year-old from Livigno taking the third podium of his career in CdM) and finally burning for only 3 cents a great March in the grand final. Five Italians in the top ten, given that Mirko Felicetti and Daniele Bagozza also played the placements of weight after qualifying, closing 8th and 10th respectively behind Fischnaller himself, at the end of the fifth. Among the women, Julie Zogg, with the Swiss able to overcome the German Selina Joerg in the final, rejoiced, while Nadya Ochner, the only Italian at the start, came out in the qualifications.
