Nadya Ochner underwent cardiac surgery today, at the San Raffaele hospital in Milan, to resolve a tachycardia problem that has been dragging on for some time.
For the tip of the women's parallel snowboard movement, on the podium in a World Cup race even in the last season, everything went smoothly as confirmed by the 27-year-old South Tyrolean herself via social media. "The smile did not go away, even if it was not a Sunday walk," Nadya revealed, thanking Dr Giulio Meli for assistance and Dr Gulletta for surgically resolving his tachycardias.
Recovery time? Still to be determined, but there will be time for Ochner to calmly resume athletic training and then return to the snow before the autumn period.
