March and Bormolini keep Italy on their feet in qualifying for the world PSL, now a double challenge to Poland

World Snowboard Championships: half of the Italian standard-bearers ahead for the round of 16 scheduled from 3.00 pm. Sobolev and Loginov are still favorites. Among the women outside Ochner, while Nadyrshina will still challenge the Germans.

It is Maurizio Bormolini and Aaron March who keep Italy's medal hopes alive, in the parallel slalom that will close the Rogla world championship today. Two Azzurri then in the round of 16, starting at 15.00 for the men, with Edwin Coratti and Daniele Bagozza out of the game: the Livigno rider placed the 7th time and will see immediately with Kwiatkowski, the South Tyrolean 9th and will meet the other Pole on the board, Nowaczyk, but the underdogs are all for the Russians Sobolev and Loginov (who is hunting for another sensational world double after having mocked Fischnaller yesterday for a penny in the PGS final ), first and second time trial in the morning qualifying. The women's race sees Sofia Nadyrshina, already silver yesterday in the parallel giant, ahead of everyone in qualifying but with the German army led by Hofmeister and Joerg that is ready for a bang. Nadya Ochner finished far from the best 16 and from the pass for the round of 16 (which will start at 14.45), having only achieved the 30th time.
