Max Parrot is ready to return, a few months after he defeated the cancer.
The 25-year-old from Cowansville, a slopestyle silver in PyeongChang 2018, said he was cured, having eradicated the illness he had been diagnosed last December 21, or Hodgkin's lymphoma.
"I have fought to the maximum of myself in the last 7 months and I can finally say that I have defeated cancer - confirmed the Canadian champion, who faced an ordeal along 12 cycles of chemotherapy, the last of which in June - Il mio body still needs time, it's not back to normal yet and it takes a lot of work to find muscle and energy, but I'm on the right track, "Parrot told the Canadian Press.
For the vice Olympic champion, the return to a competitive level is expected next August 31, at the X Games in Norway.
