The Valle Grana & egrave; one of the pi & ugrave; small valleys of Piedmont, known primarily for the production of Castelmagno and orchards of & rsquo; ancient pear Madernassa. In the wooded valley, it stands farms attentive to the territory, which with attention and love for their work, cultivate fruits and vegetables. Among these c & rsquo; & egrave; Cascina Rosa, whose name recalls the pink of old rural house of & rsquo; 800, home of & rsquo; company.

Cascina Rosa & egrave; a & rsquo; organic farm family that works in the full respect and protection of & rsquo; environment. Since 1987, in fact, l & rsquo; company operates plants with a & rsquo; setting Biological and 2013 & egrave; approached the biodynamic. To settle the & rsquo; company are people who all know each other by name (Lucio, Paola, grandmother Thu, Gemma, Marith & egrave ;, Viviana, Stefania, Marco, Sanne, Daniela, Marcella, Giorgio, Fabio & hellip;) that are part of a big family and who every day bring passion and attention in what they do. L & rsquo; company cultivates nine hectares, seven of which are dedicated to fruit trees: apples pink and yellow, quinces, pears Madernassa, plums Ramassin, apricots Round of Costiglione, red currants, blackberries, rhubarb, raspberries, with hazelnut and khaki. Two hectares are dedicated to organic cultivation of vegetables such as garlic Caraglio, onions, cucumbers, zucchini, tomatoes, green beans, potatoes, peppers and several varieties wedge & agrave; of aromatic. The products of & rsquo; company are directly sold or processed on site. With fruits and vegetables, in fact, are produced: stewed fruit or vegetables, canned fruit, dried fruit, juices, sauces and liqueurs. L & rsquo; company is also involved in organic beekeeping and nomad with over 100 bee families. The hives are placed near sources of nectar, far from polluted areas; honey extraction is carried out in cold and are used only natural. Cascina Rosa & egrave; also a petting zoo, which allows more & ugrave; small to discover the secrets of organic farming and to try to experience first hand the transformation of harvested produce, thanks to interesting laboratories (such as fabric dyeing using plants, prepare the dried apples, smielare & hellip;) The strength of this farm & egrave; its integration in the area and his respect for the & rsquo; environment, that & rsquo; they push towards the & rsquo; production of electricity, wood, detergent and vinegar.
