Courmayeur, charity dinner with a mix of local and Georgian products

"Dinner among the stars - Courmayeur Dome Experience" is the name of the charity dinner that took place from 13 to 16 February in the locality of Valle d'Aosta.

The local cuisine is joined to that of the Georgian Chef Tekuna Gachechiladze inside a magical transparent dome. On the evening of February 13th Paolo Griffa, Chef of the Grand Hotel Royal and Golf of Courmayeur, was present, who integrated Tekuna's creations with an antipasto - Boudin Noir- and his iconic dessert - Mont Blanc Frozen. Some of the Georgian recipes were made using local products that are part of the Courmayeur food project "Lo Matsòn" which takes care of the valorization of local producers at km 0, therefore with a low environmental impact and the recovery of the ancient food and wine traditions; the meat of the Pavese Butcher, the potatoes and polenta of Nathan Pavese, the flours of the Lo Gran Association and finally Lo Savon de la Goletta, for the artisan and natural soap bars. Cave Mont Blanc, Pavese Ermes, Maison Agricole D & D, Winery Noussan Franco, Maison Vigneronne Frères Grosjean, Priod Fabrizio are some names of the wines of the area that accompanied the dinners together with the grappa of the producers Vertosan Liquori and La Valdôtaine. For the occasion, 15,000 euros were collected, which will be donated to charity.
