& Egrave; was inaugurated Saturday, the twentieth edition dell''ormai historic event Morbegno in Cantina, designed to discover for all visitors the typical flavors of Valtellina.

The ancient cellars, hidden within the walls of the historic center of Morbegno (Sondrio) and surrounding villages, will open the doors every weekend until October 18, 2015. All participants will be able to leisurely stroll, sipping a glass of good wine, between the old noble residences and churches of hundreds of years old and beautiful villages mountain villages of the Valtellina.
Morbegno cellar & egrave; an event that has become historic fall season Valtellina. Now in its twentieth edition, the event & egrave; born with the 'intent to promote the wines of Valtellina and to taste the typical products of the tradition. Every year visitors increased and the event becomes more and more & ugrave; importance. Last year the old cellars have hosted about 30,000 visitors.
By purchasing a pass & egrave; You can choose one of 14 routes available and turn to the wineries and historic houses, with a glass to taste wine DOC and DOCG Valtellina. In each winery will & agrave; then you can taste the local products, such as Bitto, Slow Food.
You can choose the tour of your choice between:
- 4 routes in the historic center of Morbegno, which allow you to visit several wineries, Malacrida Palace, the Collegiate Church of St. John and the 'ancient monastery of Saint Anthony;
- 5 routes in the Coast of C & egrave; ch, which develops along the gentle slopes of the Rhaetian side of the lower Valtellina. Stroll among terraced vineyards, picturesque villages, and ancient churches: S. Provino in duty, St. Andrew in Civo, St. James in Roncaglia, St. Bartholomew in Caspano, S. Fedele in Mello, S. Alessandro in Traona.
- 4 courses of food and wine tour Gustosando, designed for lovers of good food in the charming villages of duty, Civo, Caspano, Bema, Albaredo and Gerola Alta.
The event & egrave; open every Saturday (from 14:30 to 22:30) and Sundays (from 12.00 to & nbsp; 18:00) until 18 October.
