Here comes the fourth victory of the season of the youngest of the Swedish sisters who can still believe in the overall World Cup where she recovers points over Roeiseland, third, and in the specialty one where Wierer keeps three points ahead.

The third female Mass Start of the season, the two previous ones saw the victory of Elvira Oeberg and Dorothea Wierer and the Olympic appointment the Gold of Justine Braisaz, is called to unravel the skein of the World Cup of specialties before the last appointment of Holmnekollen. Dorothea Wierer wears that red bib she wants to defend at all costs at the start.
The first round is very tactical and on the first polygon they do not miss in twenty; heavy names are found in the penalty lap such as Hanna Oeberg, Anais Chevalier, Julia Simon, Tiril Eckhoff, Herrmann, Braisaz, Davidova and Tandrevold forced into a running race.

The three leading players enter the first shooting range standing with a ten-second advantage; Franziska Peuss makes no mistake and comes out with 13 seconds ahead of Elvira Oeberg, Voigt and Brorsson (15/15) for both are at 20 seconds with Persson and Roeiseland, Herrmann running up to 29 seconds. A mistake for Wierer drops her to 54 seconds behind Preuss with her sisters Chevalier and Tandrevold.
In the fourth lap, thanks to the effort of Roeiseland, the group of Preuss's pursuers regrouped with Elvira Oeberg, Braisaz, Herrmann and Persson. A mistake for Preuss at the last polygon as well as Braisaz. Elvira Oeberg, Roeiseland, Persson and Herrmann find themselves fighting for the victory in the space of 4 seconds with Preuss at 8. Another mistake for Wierer who finds himself around the eighteenth position.
Elvira Oeberg (0-1-0-0) defends her lead and actually widens it for her second Mass Start victory of the season and to bring Roeiseland closer to the overall standings for the crystal ball; on the finish line his advantage over Herrmann (1-1-0-0) who wins the second position in the sprint is 4.5, third Roeiseland (0-0-1-0) at 4.8. It is fourth at 5.9 Persson (0-0-1-0), fifth Preuss (0-0-0-1) at 8.1, sixth Voigt (0-0-0-0) at 13.8. The Olympic champion Braisaz is seventh (1-1-0-1) at 15.2 ahead of Eckhoff (1-0-1-0), Hanna Oeberg (1-0-1-0) and Davidova (1-0- 1-0), tenth at 40.4.
Dorothea Wierer (0-1-1-1) is 21st at 1.42.2.
