In the first lap, a rather cautious Alimbekava concedes a rapprochement of all the pursuers with an arrembante Marte Roeiseland that takes on Eckhoff 3 seconds behind the leader; the Norwegians and Vittozzi make a mistake at the first polygon and Alimbekava exits the first polygon with 4.7 on Franziska Preuss, 6.1 on Davidova, 14.1 on Wierer and 22.6 on Elvira Oeberg who is with Marte Roeiseland 23 seconds behind, the Norwegian Lien at 37 seconds and Lisa Vittozzi after the penalty lap. Hanna Oeberg is at 56 seconds, Herrmann at 1.08.0, Eckhoff after three errors at 1.16.9.
On the second lap, Alimbekava stumbles and Davidova is the first to stand at the second shooting range with the five closest pursuers at 5-8 seconds. Alimbekava, Wierer, Roeiseland and Elvira Oeberg make no mistake and earn 22.6 on Davidova (one round of penalty for her), 29.5 on Knotten, Preuss (one mistake), Vittozzi. A little further back Hanna Oeberg and Tandrevold.
The quartet is compact in the first standing shooting session: Roeiseland and Alimbekava are not wrong with the Norwegian who keeps 8 seconds ahead of the Belarusian, a mistake for Wierer who finds himself 33 seconds from the leading pair with Hanna Oeberg; Preuss is at 40.6 with Knotten and Simon (despite the three mistakes of the transalpina). Davidova is eighth at 58.1, Vittozzi pays a lap and is tenth at 1.03.9.
Roeiseland builds a 17 second advantage over Allmbekava which allows ler to exit the last polygon before the Belarusian despite an error. Hanna Oeberg and Julia Simon are not wrong, third and fourth at the start of the last lap with 19.9 and 24.6. Wierer makes a mistake and drops to sixth position at 52.2, also preceded by a perfect Knotten.
Mars Roeiseland flies to victory while an arrembante Julia Simon overtakes Hanna Oeberg who, despite the first 20/20 in a Pursuit, does not get on the podium. Second at 13.9 the Belarusian Alimbekava, third Julia Simon at 17.8, fourth Hanna Oeberg at 21.4
