At 11:45 am the start of the second women's pursuit of the 2020/21 World Cup. Alimbekava opens in front of Eckhoff and Preuss but many athletes have a limited delay, including the two blue who smell the scent of the podium.

The favorite is Tirill Eckhoff, winner of the Pursuit of Kontiolahti and back from two excellent performances both in the Sprint and in the Relay. The Norwegian has to recover 9 ”in Alimbekava and will start together with Franziska Preuss. Shortly after it will be the turn of Mars Roeiseland (+17 ”) who is hunting for the first win of the season.
It promises to be a hard-fought race, at least in the first part, since 22 athletes will start with less than a minute from the leader. Instead, the leader of the general classification Hanna Oeberg (+ 1’15 ") and Denise Herrmann (+ 1’21") will have to try to recover from a distance.
