An exciting sprint on the edge of seconds and errors at the shooting range opens the first female stage of the 2022 Women's World Cup in Oberhof.

The Norwegian Marte Roeiseland (1-0), who managed to precede in a challenge between the Belarusians and Julia Simon on the last lap, imposes herself, after having placed herself at the top of the partial rankings with her bib number 3. To have the better for the second place are Hanna Sola (2-0), author of the best time on skis, who recovers 9 of the 16 seconds that separated them at the exit of the second shooting session, and the French Julia Simon (0-1) who close in second position ex-aequo at 7.1. On the other hand, the Belarusian Alimbekava (0-2) gave up with a crash in the last round and had to settle for fourth place at 22.6 ahead of the Norwegian Tandrevold (0-1), fifth by only half a second.
Anais Chevalier (1-0) is sixth at 26.3, preceding Russian Reztsova (0-2), seventh at 26.6, Finnish Mari Eder (1-0) at 28.4, Hanna Oeberg (1-1) at 33.5 and , tenth, Dorothea Wierer (0-1) at 37.9.
Lisa Vittozzi once again pays the shooting range on the ground where she runs into three errors that put her out of the way to close beyond the fortieth position at 1.50.7. Four errors (3-1) for Federica Sanfilippo who closes over the sixtieth position at 2.45.6; four rounds of penalty also for Giulia Comola (2-2) who closes at 3.23.1.
