The South Tyrolean biathlete will train in Oestersund until June 22 with the CdM group of Sweden. He will join the Italian national team in August in the Obertilliach meeting.

Lukas Hofer's first period of work with the Sweden World Cup team has begun, thanks to the agreement reached between the FISI and the Scandinavian federation.
The lighthouse carabiniere of the blue biathlon team has reached Oestersund in the past few hours, where he will stay until Wednesday 22 June; there is a second trip to the north scheduled to take place from 8 to 20 July, as Hofer will be confronted with the methods used by the training led by Johannes Lukas, followed at a distance by the head coach of Italy, Alexander Inderst.
"Luki" will then join the rest of the Italian World Cup team starting with the Obertilliach rally in the first week of August. In the meantime, the men's team rallies at Passo Lavazé (to which Dorothea Wierer is aggregated) are in full swing, while the Milan-Cortina 2026 group is working in Anterselva.
