The classic end-of-year kermesse took place on the German snows: the two Austrians beat the field in pursuit, triumphing with almost a minute of margin over Burtasova / Eliseev and Davidova / Krcmar. Subdued performance of the tested blue couple, already far away after the mass start.

A twentieth edition of the World Team Challenge again behind closed doors and, as 12 months ago, moved again to Ruhpolding compared to the classic venue in Gelsenkirchen, for a night dedicated to the kermesse that closes the calendar year of the great biathlon and speaks Austrian.
Amazing Lisa Theresa Hauser and Felix Leitner, who make a void in the second part of the race, the decisive one of the Pursuit, after having reassembled Germany 1 of Hettich and Lesser, phenomenal in the mass start (over a minute above all, but the gaps then were halved according to the formula of the event) and at the end mocked with the final fourth place, preceded also by the Russians Burtasova / Eliseev and the couple from the Czech Republic formed by Davidova and Krcmar.
