The curtain of the Biathlon World Championships in Anterselva will open in less than 24 hours, where Italy is expected as a protagonist.

At 14:45 tomorrow the Mixed Relay will be staged, a race where the Italian national team has serious medal opportunities. The technical staff has decided to line up the typical quartet, which in recent years has taken away various satisfactions, including the bronze medal of last year and the victory obtained last December always in Oestersund. At launch there will therefore be Lisa Vittozzi, perhaps the best performer in the women's sector of the initial fraction. In the second we will see Dorothea Wierer and the duel with the two direct opponents for the World Cup: the Norwegian Eckhoff and the Swedish Oeberg. The third fraction, often fundamental for the fate of the race, was entrusted to Lukas Hofer while at the end there will be Dominik Windisch, ready to assert the excellent sprinter skills in case of arrival in the sprint. The favorite for gold is undoubtedly Norway, the outgoing world champion, who puts all the big names on the field: Roeiseland, Eckhoff, Tarjei Boe and Johannes Boe. France, winner of the last World Cup Mixed Relay two weeks ago in Pokljuka, will host Simon, Braisaz, Fourcade and Fillon Maillet at the end. Sweden, which has a very solid quartet with Persson at the launch and followed by Oeberg, Nelin and Samuelsson, and Germany, which if it comes out unscathed from the first fraction with Preuss, can count on Herrmann, Peiffer and Doll.
