The countdown is over, finally it's off. In Anterselva the curtain opens on the biathlon world championships, where Italy is expected as a protagonist.

The Mixed Relay is awarding the first medals for the World Championships in Anterselva, proof that in recent years has given great joys to the Italian national team. Vittozzi, Wierer, Hofer and Windisch try to replicate what was done in 2018 at the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang and in 2019 at the World Championships in Oestersund, or why not improve.

The nations credited for the podium are Norway, which ranks all the big names; France, with Fourcade in third fraction to clear the cards; Sweden, very competitive in the two women's fractions and Germany, fearful in the three final fractions.
