In the first fraction Lisa Vittozzi after breaking the ice with two refills at the first shooting range finds herself dueling with Mars Roeiseland (0 + 1) for supremacy. Sappadina holds Norwegian tails. The two put 12 seconds ahead on the pursuers led by the Swiss Seita Gasparin (0 + 2) who precedes the Belarusian Kryuko (0 + 0) and the Czech Puskarcikova (0 + 1). Franziska Preuss' Germany (0 + 3) pays 35 seconds, Julia Simon with a penalty lap and a collapse on skis on the third lap passes through France at 1''16 ".
Dorothea Wierer tries to impose her law in the second fraction.
