The new management, which took office in 2016 and led by team leader Federica Fasano, wants in fact be a net change from the past and make the center much more professional.
The first step was changing the name dell''impianto, now called Carnia Arena. The new management has already obtained an important recognition by the FISI, since now the structure has become officially a Fisi federal center for biathlon and cross-country skiing. As explained by Manuel Ferrari, deputy mayor of Forni Avoltri with responsibility for sport, for the future there is also the 'idea of ​​building the springboards for the practice of jumping and Nordic combined.
Meanwhile, nell''ottica to revive the fortunes of Forni Avoltri on an international scale, it was decided to propose to Frassinoro Biathlon Friends the opportunity to host the Summer Biathlon Festival. Looking for a new home after being "evicted", FBF has willingly accepted.
