Belarus biathlon for the 2017 season - '' 18

More and more countries are defining in advance their main working groups in view of the Olympic season. After Russia and the 'Ukraine, also un''altra nation of the former Soviet Galaxy did likewise. It is Belarus.

Here, as in the other two countries, East European, has opted for a policy of reducing the number of athletes entered in the team A. The large number of 2016 - '' 17 teams (9 men and 11 women) were in fact dwarfed in 7 men and only 6 girls. In the women's field it was decided to include in the national team only five athletes able to score points in the World Cup nell''inverno just concluded, adding the young Hanna Sola. So nothing to do for the various Dzinara Alimbekava, Darya Blashko, Nastassia Kinnunen and Kristina Ilchenko. In the men's field, surprisingly, it was not involved Dzmitry Abasheu de facto number three in the movement in the season just ended. The reason would however bureaucratic-disciplinary nature, as the twenty-six did not appear to extensive medical tests to which it was subjected each team member. For the rest it was decided to focus on the young line, excluding the main working group experts Yuri Liadov and Dmtry Dyuzhev to make way for Anton Smolski and Viktar Kryuko.
