Double appointment tomorrow with the biathlon CdM, which restarts after the two stages of Kontiolahti with the Sprint of Hochfilzen (Aut). At 11:30 the start of the female test, at 14:20 it will be the men's turn.

We are waiting to see the Italian team in action, from which improvements in condition are expected compared to what was shown in Finland. The only change compared to the first two seasonal outings is the inclusion of Michela Carrara in place of Nicole Gontier.
These are the bibs of the blue: Dorothea Wierer (9), Lisa Vittozzi (22), Irene Larschneider (51), Federica Sanfilippo (56) and Michela Carrara (97).
Rather different choices for the favorites on the eve. If Wierer has in fact opted for the first group, Denise Herrmann (27), Hanna Oeberg (33) and Elvira Oeberg (35) will start in the second. High bibs also for the Norwegians, who have chosen the third group: Roeiseland (53), Tandrevold (62), while Eckhoff will even start with 85. It therefore promises to be a very long race.

The choices made by the technical staff for the women's race mirror those made for the men's race. Low bibs for the two leading Azzurri, Windisch (2) and Hofer (8), as well as for Sebastian Samuelsson (10).
Second group instead for the French: Fillon Maillet (45), Jacquelin (49) and Claude (51). The Norwegians will have very high bibs: Dale (66), Johannes Boe (89), Laegreid (92). The last to start will be Tarjei Boe (108). In addition to being a race to follow until the last second, it will be fun throughout its duration, since all the top nations have made different strategic choices.
These are the bibs of the other Italians: Didier Bionaz (40), Thomas Bormolini (70) and Patrick Braunhofer (86), all with the aim of qualifying for the Pursuit.
