On the occasion, the first stage will be for the men, while the women will follow, who will also have the task of closing the relay. Hofer and Wierer will try to repeat what they did in Oestersund in 2019, when they took silver and finished behind Norway. Last year the Azzurri in Anterselva finished ninth instead. Also competitive were Germany, outgoing silver, Austria with Eder and Hauser, Sweden and Russia.
