Eighth at the seasonal debut in Oestersund, then 10a in Hochfilzen and finally 4a last week in Ruhpolding: this is the blue path in the three relays staged so far, a growing path and in search of the best formation, to hunt for a medal in the most important moment of the season, namely in Beijing. Today, however, Bormolini, Windisch, Giacomel (who returns to the quartet taking the place of Bionaz) and Hofer, will have a chance on the podium. In general, the potential of the Italians is in the top five countries in the world, but today the opportunity is even more tempting because several teams will make turnover.
Favorite, indeed very favored, Norway which comes in full ranks and in typical formation to seize the third success of the season after the two obtained in Oestersund and Hochfilzen. The norge seem to have no rivals, or almost, since France presents itself without the two spearheads: Jacquelin and Fillon Maillet. However, the transalpines present themselves with a respectable formation that could fight for the podium.

The numbers of the men's relays in Anterselva speak of a dominant France in recent years with two victories in the last two seasons, always obtained in front of Norwegian rivals.
