At 14:10 the start of the third Sprint of the season: the Norwegian, ruler so far in his career in the French location, aims for three of a kind after Kontiolahti and Hochfilzen. After the excellent result in the Pursuit last Sunday, the Trentino rider is aiming high.

It will be a reduced ranks Italy at the start of the Sprint which will open the third stage of the World Cup in Le Grand Bornand. Still stuck in the pits Patrick Braunhofer and Lukas Hofer, who aims to be there for the Christmas event in Germany and return to the CDM in January, while Cappellari will be involved in the Ibu Cup in Val Ridanna.
The team is captained by Tommaso Giacomel, back from an excellent weekend in Hochfilzen: 20th in the Sprint, author of an excellent stage in the relay and 6th in the Pursuit with an incredible comeback that brought him up to the best result in his career. It won't be easy to confirm, but the Trentino rider will try: the conditions on skis are good and the percentages at the shooting range will be fundamental.

The Sprint of Le Grand Bornand will also be an "all against Johannes Boe". The Norwegian started the season in high gear by doing a Sprint-Pursuit double at both Kontiolahti and Hochfilzen and arrives in one of his favorite racing contexts. In the French location he has already won 7 times, winning three Sprints. Among the most accredited rivals there are undoubtedly the French Jacquelin, in great shape in this beginning of winter and Fillon Maillet, who can find himself right in front of his home crowd. Attention also to Laegreid, always on the podium in the last four races but never in the top three at Le Grand Bornand.
