As per the regulations, each athlete will take part in 30 athletes: all the medalists at the individual level, the best 15 of the general classification and those who during the event have collected more World Cup points.
For Italy there will be four athletes: Lisa Vittozzi and Dorothea Wierer in the women's field, Lukas Hofer and Dominik Windisch in the men's field.
In season three first level Mass Starts were staged. Among the girls there were three different winners: Kuzmina, Preuss and Dahlmeier, and eight athletes took the podium. Among them there are no Italians.
In the men's field, Johannes Boe boasts instead two victories and a second place. Quentin Fillon Maillet in Anterselva was the only one able to overcome it.
