After having examined various hypotheses, the Italian technical staff decided to confirm the launch of the Lisa Vittozzi women's relay. In the second stage there will be Nicole Gontier, in third Dorothea Wierer and in closing Federica Sanfilippo. Italy presents itself at the most important event of the season (at least as far as the format is concerned), not as a favorite for the win but with all the credentials to get a medal around its neck. In a hypothetical starting grid, Germany would certainly start in pole position, while behind it Norway, Sweden and Italy would start from the second row. However, France, Slovakia and Russia should not be excluded in the fight for the podium.
In the men's relay, the launch will be by Lukas Hofer. Thomas Bormolini and Giuseppe Montello are instead engaged in the central fractions, while Dominik Windisch was deployed in the usual role of finalizer. Among men, values on the field see Norway favored for victory ahead of France. However, Germany, Russia and the Swedish hosts will also be fighting for the medals.
