Double title for Variola at the summer tricolor push in the bob, the favorite Margaglio is confirmed in the skeleton

A very successful event was staged in Cortina d''Ampezzo, organized by the Bob Club Cortina. All the titles awarded with the best blues in the competition.

The start of the 2021/22 season, although winter is still far away. The Italian summer push championships turned the spotlight on bobsleighs and skeletons, with the blues of the World Cup groups and not only engaged in the event, organized by the Bob Club Cortina, right in the heart of the Queen of the Dolomites. In the two-man bobsleigh race, Variola / Fantazzini won with 9 ”69, ahead of Baumgartner / Mircea with 9” 80 and Ghilardini / Fierro with 10 ”02. Off the podium Dellago / Verginer, Colombo / Conti and Farina / Zucchi. In the female mono bob, Anna Schenk (BC Cortina) preceded in 10 "97 Elena Scarpellini (Air Force) with 11" 07 and Tania Vicenzino (Army) with 11 "17, behind them Giada Andreutti, Giulia Chenet and Elena Bosco. In the four-man bobsleigh (staged on one heat only) Variola / Mircea / Bilotti / Juarez preceded Dallago / Veginer / Fantazzini / Monte, third place for Baumgartner / Ughi / Obou / Pagnini. Valentina Margaglio (Fiamme Azzurre) won, as a great favorite, the Italian female skeleton title. The Piedmontese set the clock on a time of 9 ”97, behind her Alessandra Fumagalli (BC Cristallo) with 10” 19 and Alessia Crippa (SC Antigorio) with 10 ”30; at the foot of the podium are Chiara Duzioni and Angel Osakue. In the men's field, the success went to Marvin Moscara (BC Cristallo) in 9 ”37, with second place for Pietro Drovandi (BC Cristallo) in 9” 53 and the third by Gabriele Mareschino (SC Antigorio) with 9 ”60. Fourth place for one of the most anticipated men, Amedeo Bagnis, ahead of Manuel Schwaerzer, Giovanni Marchetti, Mattia Gaspari (landlord and lighthouse of the movement), Francesco Pellicani and Giovanni Pontiggia.
