* Ben ten of the twenty-eight couples registered will take part at the European Championships for the first time in his career.
* The couple pi & ugrave; young race, averaging between ages & agrave; of the two components, & egrave; the Ukrainian formed by Valeria Gaistruk and Alexei Olejnik. The pi & ugrave; Seniors are, however, Italians Anna Cappellini / Luca Lanotte, who also boast the largest number of holdings.
* The French Gabriella Papadakis / Guillaume CIZERON, Italians Anna Cappellini / Luca Lanotte and Russians Ekaterina Bobrova / Dmitri Soloviev took turns on the step pi & ugrave; top of the podium in the last three editions.
* Among the participants, the top three placings have also British Penny Coomes / Nicholas Buckland, third in 2014, and the Russians Alexandra Stepanova / Ivan Bukin, bronze medalist in the last edition.
* Cappellini / Lanotte and Bobrova / Soloviev are the only couples in the competition to have won three podium finishes.
* The Russian Nikita Katsalapov, teaming with former partner Elena Ilinykh, & egrave; on the podium in three editions between 2012 and 2014, without ever winning.
