The race for the upcoming Four Continents reserved for couples of art will be characterized by numerous absences. In addition to the Americans Denney / Couhglin, subject to injury, they gave up all'' event even veteran Chinese Pang / Tong, focused on preparation for the World Cup. Moreover they the defending champions Sui / Han, resumed training a few weeks ago.

The underdogs belong to Canadians Duhamel / Radford who will try to bring the title home to twelve years after the last successful designer'' Salé / Pelletier. The main alternative is Moore-Towers/Moscovitch, veterans from convincing second place in the Canadian National Championships in which they were preceded by a'' gluing most popular countrymen.
They have ambitions to the podium Chinese couple newly formed Peng / Zhang and the new U.S. national champions Castles / Shnapir. A step below are asking Canadians Lawrence / Swigers and the remaining pairs U.S. Scimeca / Knierim and Zhang / Bartholmay, both to debut in the event.

FINAL NOTES
No couple is ever imposed in the race in the Four Continents. Duhamel / Radforf have two appearances on the podium, including the place of honor'' conquered in 2011. In the same edition, Lawrence / Swiegers were placed in third position.
It should be noted that the last six editions were won by Chinese couples.
