The first day of the Russian National Championships Figure Skating Championships, hosted by'' Iceberg Palace in Sochi, ended with the short-dance.

Segment of the race resulted in a surprise result, in part, for the placings, but especially for the difference in points between the two pairs of the top of the movement.
The first place went to defending champions Ekaterina Bobrova / Dmitri Soloviev, who today have laid a solid foundation for storing the fourth consecutive win in the highest national survey. In third place, final placement useful for taking part in the European Championships, Olympics and the World Cup, are a surprise Victoria Sinitsina / Ruslan Zhiganshin, which preceded a few tenths of the most experienced Ekaterina Riazanova / Ilya Tkachenko, it being in close contact with Ilinykh / Katsalapov.
The winners of the junior world title in 2012, suspected of trasferisi at the end of the season in the United States Navy or Zueva Pasquale Camerlengo, showed the second technical score by finding the quality finn-step sequences of failure both in the NHK Trophy, the only stage of Grand Prix disputed, that in the Universiade ended in third place.
Ksenia Monko / Kirill Khaliavin, fifth in the standings, seem, however, already cut out of the fight for the podium as detached four and a half points from Sinistina / Zhiganshin, once their training partners.
Finally, it should be noted that Ekaterina Puskash / Jonathan Guerreiro, the fourth change of coaching staff for the past two years were followed by Anjelika Krylova balustrade. In any case, they had to settle'' s eighth place.
